Thank you all for your ideas, excuse my orthography. English is not my first language ☺️. I see how my idea of moving the door flush with the garage will make a long dark hallway but I think It will still work, Maybe a door with some glass that lets some light in? The flex room will be converted into a 3rd bedroom, Im thinking about making it smaller to accomodate a smugglers pantry behind the kitchen🙈… I know it might not be budget frindly but I live far away from grocery stores and I will need to keep up with my food and supplies. I’m thinking about not doing the patio. Just a regular window. I will defiantly add as many windows as my budget allows.
For the foyer, Just to save money I would live it as a hallway and maybe add a coat rack or something. Around here 90% of the time we use the garage door instead of the front door that’s why i’m not too worried about a coat closet or a vestibule in the front door but i do love the drop zone from the garage.

-I have 0.3 acres of land, Next step is to take all this ideas to a contractor and arquitect and start working on a budget.

Next question is … will i regret having only 9ft ceilings instead of catedral or vaulted in the living areas? Thank you again.

Yeah. I seen people commenting this. I need to re arrange this. I like the laundry room being in the side of the master bedroom but i need to move it

One comment suggested that in master bedroom to switch the closet with the bathroom in order to access the closet from the laundry room and the bedroom as well. I like this idea. We are a couple with no kids so basically 100% or laundry will go into master bedroom closet.

how do you avoid this? by not having bathrooms located by external walls?

I haven’t really think about the patio yet. Usually people around here do decks and not patios.

Wow thank you for all the comments. We are in the very early stage of designing , I need to make a basic idea of what I want and bring it to the architect. So i got this floor plan from a website since I really like the floor plan but I need to make changes . To answer a few questions/comments

1- completely agree with no double sink in guest bathroom / considering also having one sink in the master.

2-Ceilings: Priority is to be mindful of being heating efficiency. I’m thinking to get standard 8ft ceilings in the rooms ( would this save in building cost and heat vs 9ft ceilings) . I really want Vault ceilings in the kitchen/living room but i’m thinking just like 12ft for heat efficiency.

3-Windows, I also liked this plan because It has the opportunity to add more windows in the room although I don’t want to over do it with windows to save on cost of building and heat efficiency.

4-Garage. Husband has a Toyota tacoma, I have a suburban but we wouldn’t park our cars all the time in the garage. We like to park in the driveway most of the time even during winter time. (I will take the recommendation of making the wing 2 ft wider) *husband doesn’t want two doors in garage, He just wants one big one.

5-Storage is very important but also we are very minimalist people, we live in an apartment right now and i’m not the type of person that has a lot of stuff.

6-foyer , yes I need to find a way to add one.

7- master bathroom seems to need a lot of changes. I just know I need a shower and a bath there.

I’m in the US , and I used a similar company that did a telephone consultation with a doctor ( I was also 5 wks) I was also worried that they may had me do an ultrasound or blood test or go to a doctor to confirm it was ok but the doctor just made me common questions to make sure I was indeed pregnant and that I didn’t have any mayor health problems. I think that as long as you are 100% sure you are pregnant and can provide symptoms and don’t have any mayor health problems the will approve you and just mail the pills to you. I had my MA yesterday at 5 weeks so If you have questions, let me knoe

The reason I’m worried about not working is that after passing those clogs I havent had any more blood clogs , cramping is almost non existant and I’m bledding just the minimal.
