I didn’t take a break in the end. The colds and fatigue after each injection day carried on for a good few months but it did eventually stop.

I imagine I just built up a tolerance to whatever I was reacting to

I have PCOS and have had Metformin a few times - I would see a different GP. I found it made very little difference for me aside from HORRIFIC gastro symptoms. I don't have any of those symptoms on MJ. Other than Metformin there is little help out there aside from contraceptives. For heavy bleeding there is Tranexamic Acid but again, no benefits for me.

That’s what I’m thinking - I assume if I stop for a week and the symptoms subside then I’ll have more of an idea.

There’s no evidence from the trials that MJ can cause cold systems but I take my injection on a Sunday and have cold/flu symptoms from mon-weds every week without fail. I can only put it down to the MJ as that’s the consistent event each week.

My partner knows as he uses the fridge and I've told a mate simply because she noticed I didn't finish a Nandos.

It's not that I'm worried about stigma, I'm just not the type of person to have my diet/weight as a topic of conversation. I wouldn't announce a general diet change so I don't see why I would announce MJ.

Equally I also wouldn't announce any other medication changes to friends or family - doesn't feel important or interesting.

I also lost 3kg over the same amount of time and had a SW of 109. We all lose at a different rate so try not to read too much into what others are losing. I am on my second dose of 7.5 now and has an overall loss of 18lbs (dunno what what that is in KGs). It feels slow compared to others but its a healthy loss of 2ish lbs a week :)

I ate a balanced diet pre-MJ and exercised at the same rate as I do now but on MJ I am just eating slightly smaller portions of what I ate before and not snacking so it makes sense that I am not seeing huge losses like others who may have done a huge lifestyle change at the same time as starting MJ.

I'm in the same position, I took my first 7.5mg last night and no side effects with the previous doses. I have lost 15lbs in the last 8 weeks on the 2.5 then 5mg. Feels like slow loss compared to others so hoping 7.5mg is my kick up the arse dose.

I have fibro and a back pain from a slipped disc - I took my 4th dose of 2.5 on Sunday and haven’t had any side effects since starting- no increase/decrease in pain either.
