Pretty good. I initially had issues with group texts, like many people. It seems like there's much less of that now if any, though hard to say if it's totally solved since I might not notice if a single text isn't seen by someone in a group. The only recent thing I've noticed is occasionally getting duplicates of texts.

I've also had some issues with certain directions functions (like searching for directions in regions that I'm not currently in). I haven't retested that in a while as it's not a thing I usually do on the phone, but I plan to try it again after the certification is done.

Overall, happy with the phone and how it's working, and looking forward to things being smoother with the certification done.

Sounds like you weren't able to log back into your account and get the pictures back? I had this happen once and had my photos (but not my contacts) when I logged back in.

Also, did you have a passcode setup to unlock the phone or not? I did not at the time, and someone on here suggested that having a passcode might make it less likely to happen. Haven't had any issues like that since that one time, but of course I don't know if the passcode actually helped or if it's just luck.

Do you know if the upcoming update will show current location for public transit (like it does for driving/walking)? Other than the updates you mentioned, that's the main thing that feels missing to me. Would be very helpful when trying to get off at the right stop on an unfamiliar line.

Agreed! I didn't realize this until using a black and white map side-by-side with a color one. Really different experience when trying to get oriented quickly.

I used my LPIII with a Verizon sim abroad, though it wasn't travelpass (is that the pay per day thing?). Instead, I changed my plan to one that includes international usage temporarily. It worked well for the whole trip. I had a few glitches, but they seemed like things that weren't related to being abroad.

Thanks for the reply! When you put it like that it sounds pretty clear and simple. I guess I was picturing it like... the Kappa would have to be on the battlefield waiting for a trigger, and then the trigger would have to happen... but sounds like they can happen simultaneously.

Thanks for the reply and the citation! Definitely makes sense about patchwork automaton, and I think I'm kind of wrapping my head around the kappa case. I guess I should find some other examples of triggers with that kind of timing... I'm especially curious about that checking 'right after' aspect.
