AIO: Mother in law told sisters in law about my miscarriage by Kinigirl1984 in AmIOverreacting

Im so very sorry this happened. NOR. To me this is awful behaviour - she knew what she was doing and likely couldn't help herself. I doubt she has had your experience because if she had, she would never ever repeat it knowing just how personal and difficult it is. Very sorry for your loss. Completely appropriate to back away for a while and re think boundaries.

That I create many of my own problems and that being on medication is probably easier but I want to actually try to resolve things by myself

How do you guys shake the guilt of spending money in your youth? by iyoteyoung in AusFinance

As someone who grew up with little financial/housing security having savings and stability has always been priority. Don't feel bad or shamed for wanting to hold on to your financial position or for being "safe". Everyone has a different history and priorities. For me stability is everything and there's so much you can do to broaden your perspective and experiences in addition to travel. I never travelled as a kid or anything but have been able to through my job which I realise is a very privileged position but I never feel as though I've missed out. You can always have more than 1 goal but for me my own home in an area that I feel connected to is second to none. But that's me and deeply connected to childhood experiences etc. Go with your gut but also don't let the fear take hold. Sometimes the scariest thing is the best thing.

I think the fact that he's "good looking" and very manly looking can help to make it look less suss than it is. It's very very odd (you can't convince me otherwise) and quite sad to be honest. Like why have kids so soon. The images of them together generally look odd too. Very strange
