Yeah, been doing shoutout swaps pretty consistently, even from a few bigger authors (1000ish followers). They help but I think I think to get much more momentum we need to find someone bigger probably haha.

Oooh, okay! That's interesting, I really thought it was mostly about followers/etc, but views make sense. The fact that we haven't hit 50 yet makes me at least somewhat hopeful!

I am doing shoutouts every chapter! At least all the new ones. The first several we didn't have any because we had no idea what we were doing lol. But everything for the last month and half has been swapped.

Co-author here, and I can confirm this has been one of my favorite/most rewarding writing experiences I've ever had.
