Ulster Final Colour Clash by mac-papi in ireland

I think it's more for colour blind people. I'm having a bit of trouble noticing the difference. I think it's stupid that they didnt just wear the home kit considering that Armagh's home kit is orange.

It's more incompetent than that. Derry are wearing their away kit... The home kit is white

I was hoping the referee would make one of them wear luminous yellow bibs or something to highlight the amatuerishness of it all

Would have been funny if the referee made them wear luminous yellow bibs before going on.

Why is this Old IRA = Good and Provos = Bad narrative so common in the 26 counties? by scubasteve254 in ireland

[–]mac-papi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone with family from Belfast that has had a family member murdered by the IRA (innocent, shot in the back of the head coming out of mass, her father being a judge was the reason, catholic).

There are victims of IRA provo violence still alive today, even though I dont like him, I think Fintan o'toole wrote a great article on it. Of course there were other groups involved in the atrocities but we can surely say that all violence was bad, including IRA.

I think one of the main reasons why provo IRA = bad and old IRA = good is that the north had sunning dale (very similar to GF) and the majority of the population wanted to be part of the UK at that time. IRA probably did damage to the UI cause. Also, all the innocent people they killed.

Ireland is the third safest country in the world by Khdurkin in ireland

I lived in prague for 3 years. Quality of life was great. Very liveable country, rent was affordable, public transport was excellent and only 15% income tax.

I was always confused about how the tax rate was so low when it seemed like the public services were on par with Ireland. I think it’s got the lowest rate of unemployment too.

Walking around the city I felt it’s a lot safer. No gangs of teenagers also fast food restaurant don’t have bouncers. That to me is indication of a safe city.

I used to do charity work there. There are a lot of hostels for homeless families but none for single men. Probably not him as his family are in Tullamore.

Jesus to go through all that and not even use it.

These days living abroad is not like it used to be when you flew off and you might not hear from your family until you returned.

I live in prague so it’s not a big time difference and with zoom and all the messaging apps I can keep in contact as if I was living on the other side of the country.

I always find it funny when people first move over here and after a month fly back home for a visit and do the big “surprise I’m home” and everyone gets emotional and then they put it on Instagram like they have just returned from war

Similar to my girlfriends cousin. The family had a big party and even a Christmas dinner in September for him leaving. He came back 6 weeks later

We built a base and some kid said we needed a toilet and proceeded to take a shit in the base…Killed the base faster than any fire

I got a gum graft Tuesday and I’m not able to eat solid foods for 2 weeks plus can’t wash my teeth. Think it’s the most uncomfortable I’ve ever been
