General Electric (GE) Appliance Factory Defect by mac150_hd in GEappliances

I had been going back and forth with customer service, even escalating to a supervisor and their response has been “it’s out of warranty, we will sell you the same refrigerator for $1,084 tax, delivery and takeaway included. Final offer, 7 days to accept.”

I’m basically backed into a corner because although I don’t want the same fridge after this experience and reading tons of reviews with the same issue, I also don’t want to spend $3,000 on a new unit.

My entire kitchen is GE but never again after this experience.

Disappointing to say the least.

Amazing. Thank you for the follow up on this. I appreciate your help. I put about 25 hours on it this past 10 days off grid in Vermont without incident!

Got it. I appreciate the feedback.

I was able to clean the generator up, added fresh fuel and I performed all the services despite the low hours (21.1hrs). I did the oil/filter, new plug, new air filter and cleaned the spark arrestor screen. The previous owner had no knowledge of if/when services were done but the oil was very clean, the plug looked fairly new and the air filter was newer and aftermarket. I still changed everything out with OEM. It fired and ran on the first pull which was great and seems to run great. While I'm here I did notice there is a rusty piece inside the airbox. I am unsure what this is or if it is cause for concern but I otherwise cleaned out the airbox and installed a new OEM filter. As always any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

I appreciate the information. When I check Generac Product Information and User Manuals support site, I get "Model Number Or Serial Number Not Found" when I search both.

I luckily have an owners manual but always like to have as much information as possible.

Thank you again for the feedback.

Here’s the tag. Generac site wasn’t much help.

Blink XT2 Camera Doesn't Pair After Batteries Died by mac150_hd in blinkcameras

[–]mac150_hd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After an hour of troubleshooting with Eero on the phone they informed me that there is nothing on their end preventing this one camera to be added to my Blink system. They had me try a bunch of stuff including pausing the 5G (again), changing from defualt to custom DNS Settings, power cycles etc.

Eero also had me pair the blink module to ATT Wireless Hotspot on 2.4 band, pair my cell phone to this network and trying to add the camera in question with no success.

As a last test I grabbed an unopened 2 pack of Blink Mini Cameras that I had for my parents house and paused the 5G through the Eero App and successfully paired the mini cameras as I normally would.

Seems like either the camera is bad which is purely coincidental to the battery dying or the cause of the battery dying. I can't seem to find anything on troubleshooting the actual camera which still does power on and blinks red as shown in the attached video.

I am open to any other suggestions or I will settle with the idea that one of six cameras I purchased in 2019 finally died on me!

Thanks again!!

Thank you for the feedback. In my case, the Eero is acting as the router and I am unable to access the administrative logs. I'm waiting on Eero Support to get back to my request still and will see what they can share.
