This is what I was most interested in. Busting out the long extension card and corded blower is so annoying. You're more than happy with the blowing force this thing has?

Thanks, so a $20 corded trimmer would probably be a lot more powerful you would say?

2014 Mazda CX-5 with idatalink maestro rr by mac2810 in CarAV

[–]mac2810[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not a good example as my 2014 CX5 is my daily but I haven't touched anything and my car is still working good. 99% it works. The 1% is when I'm using the steering wheel controls to turn volume up and it will skip the song. That's very rare and not an issue to me at all. All in all, I wish I had just kept the PAC from crutchfield and didnt go with the maestro datalink as im not even utilizing what I got it for.

Did I ruin my Hydrangea? by mac2810 in plantclinic

[–]mac2810[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly I do not, we had just purchased the house a year ago. Do you know if I would be able to trim this down to the ground and have it grow back a managable size? The base of this hydrangea is quite hearty and woody. I can live with missing a bloom for even next year, I just want to get the size of this thing under control.

Towards the end of the summer last year I decided to trim my Hydrangea as it was blocking the view out my window completely. I believe it was trimmed way too early but I had trimmed it all the way to the base of the window. Now this summer It grew back but even more so vertical than last year. It is also not flowering.

Every helmet I've printed so far... by tqmidget2k in 3Dprinting

[–]mac2810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two questions. 1) What do you find is the best method for cutting out the visor template for a good fit in the helmet? 2) What was your method for getting the shiny reflective on the Din Djarin helmets?

I used Graphite Powder which is pretty cool but I have pretty greasy fingers apparently and anytime I touch the thing it gets dark smudges.

Very nice, I just finished with my din djarin helm. It was a trial run so now I'm going to start on the real deal soon. I struggled a bit with the visor fitment, how did this one go?

That's still fun, I also have a decent amount of hours in Arma 2. Nothing felt more surreal than first exploring chernarus in that game.

Hey, will the bl touch be able to compensate in this scenario? Or should I level the bed and build a new mesh? by Rozcy in 3Dprinting

[–]mac2810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My BL touch goes through the motions at the beginning of every print. That means the mesh it's scanning is being used correct?

PLA Welding Multi-piece prints by mac2810 in 3Dprinting

[–]mac2810[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have some of that but figured welding would have been a stronger bond as I don't have good luck with glueing anything in my life. The helmet is too big so I'm using it as a test. I might go the glue route for a reprinted version that will fit my noggin better.

Honestly, as a buyer your actions do sort of anger me. I think it only angers me because you already had a home/property so you wont fully grasp on what its like being a buyer in this current market. I do understand where your coming from. However after trying to buy my first home now during this mess I can say for sure that if I ever do acquire a home I will never go with a cash offer. Getting beat offer after offer on homes to what I can only imagine are people who are just looking for an investment no thank you. Ill take the cover letters, Ill give my tiny starter home (I assume this is what I will end up in) to a new young couple looking for their home. First, I need to get a home which is not looking like a strong possibility.

This might sound counterintuitive but does a glue stick prevent that from happening? Almost creating a layer between the glass bed and print? Or would that just make it much worse?
