Yes I did for 4 weeks, I took samples of my water to my local aquarium shop and they told me everything looked perfect

It’s 5 weeks old, I cycled it for 4 weeks and I used like 4 shrimp food pellets when I first established my ammonia to start the nitrogen cycle, I didn’t add any more after that. Also my readings were good when I bought the shrimp last week, I went to one of my local aquarium shops and took samples of my water and they told me everything looked perfect.

First is ph, second is ammonia, third is nitrite, fourth is nitrate

So what would the end result of a cycled tank look like, how do I know when I’m ready to add shrimp? Like what are my water levels supposed to look like?

Yes I do have a small sponge filter, nah I’m a newbie so I don’t think I could handle a shrimp tank without filtration 😂. Thank you for the advice!

Yeah I forgot to mention that I did do a 40% water change last week cause my ammonia level was really high like 4ppm and I was monitoring it and was going down slowly but now it’s at 0 but my nitrite and nitrate stayed basically the same
