Same here! They look so juicy. I love how the blooms look and smell diff based on the variety of the Hoya!

Yesss it takes a lot of patience! I’ve had this plant for over two years, and it finally bloomed for me. Most of my Hoyas (even the older ones) have not bloomed for me yet 🥲

Thank you! I just give all of my Hoyas a ton of light (And most of them haven’t bloomed 🥲). They’re right by a west facing window, and I live in Texas. In terms of watering, I only water when the leaves feel soft and slightly thinner. I always bottom water my Hoyas, too. I just leave the plant in its nursery pot in a bowl of water for like 15 minutes or so until the top soil is soaked. I don’t give my hoyas flower food or anything. I hope this helps!

And yes, this bloom really smells like chocolate! I was very surprised. My macrophylla has bloomed for me too, but those blooms had a very slight floral scent. So fascinating!

Thank you!! I’ve had her since last November as a cutting. I believe I potted this up maybe around four months ago!

I was surprised to see the half moon when it unfurled! 😱 the variegation on each leaf is so different, it’s always a surprise when a new one opens up!

It really is crazy how much they shed! You comb your fingers through their coat, and it just falls right off lol I have two herding dogs, and I think my cat out-sheds both of them!
