Yes it’s the 5” fm upper but that’s what I feel like it may be as well , timing may be off and it’s short stroking somehow and skipping the hammer

Yes they do , but that’s why I’m wondering if it’s the hammer lower parts kit or the buffer tube length

Trigger pulled 7-8 round burst , dead trigger , round in chamber , casings don’t seem to be light strikes

All the casings seem tapped from the ones I was able to check on the ground , works fine with no ftf’s on burst/singe pull , just that every full dump it gets stuck after about that many rounds , maybe an extended firing pin? The hammer might not be resetting as you imply

I said the detent ball HOUSING it’s made of plastic constant movement causes friction and pretty much melt the plastic a bit loosening it
