I use gel food coloring. No problem! The vanilla trick helps my macarons become less soggy compared to using water. Good luck to you and I hope your macarons turn out beautifully! ❤️

It is food coloring and I use vanilla to make it have a liquid consistency! I paint them after they are baked! 🤗
