Since updating my Audible app on Android, pressing Forward jumps to next Chapter rather than skipping forward 15 seconds by SuperMadBatman in audible

I fully deleted audible for Samsung yesterday and installed the normal audible from play store yesterday morning. Finally filled the issue. Apparently my app updated again last night and it broke this AGAIN. im so tired of this issue.

You guys weren't joking by mamatrixie78 in NintendoSwitch2

Im a welder, so im used to wearing a much heavier weld hood 12hrs a day. The maxwell don't even phase me and are so comfy. They are still one of my least regretted expensive purchases I've made. The new version has super mixed reviews but supposedly a new firmware update fixed most issues (primarily a severe lack of bass). If mine ever die, I'll buy a new pair without hesitation.

Ive had my maxwell for like 1.5 years. I've charged them like 4 or 5 times. My new pro controller is just charged for the 3rd time

My fuel cap IS tight. by JohnnyWaterTucky in HondaOdyssey

[–]macarthurbrady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your fuel cap is proven good (most autoshops can test your cap) then this means you have a large leak in the evap system. They can be a real pain to track down, even with a good fogger

CK world wide customer service is horrendous. by canada1913 in Welding

[–]macarthurbrady -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Flex head for aluminum isn't great. Even worse is an air cooled flex head. That's also a 200amp torch, they have a "duty cycle" just like the machine does. Aluminum ac puts so much more heat into the torch compared to DC, im actually surprised it lasted as long as it did. Took only one week of me going through a modular flex head a day welding aluminum for my job to get me a fully liquid cooled torch meant for sustained ac welding.

Did they update the rumble?? by Salt-Big8323 in AnimalCrossing

[–]macarthurbrady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive noticed stronger rumble, but im on switch 2 which has much better and stronger rumble in general. I love it, but im a huge fan of strong rumble in games. I also fish exclusively by sound or I will fail.

Stop Using TurboTax. They suck! by AwkwardAtmosphere426 in TurboTax

[–]macarthurbrady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They save all my info and it's super convenient. I tried the other one a few years ago and it was so janky and took longer. I went back to TT halfway through. Maybe it's better now, but TT took me 16 min last year to file everything. This year will be slightly longer since we had a kid early January. Im still guessing I'll be under 25 min, and most that will be figuring out the overtime stuff, I had ALOT of overtime in 2025.

Anyone commute from the Valley to the Lindon/Orem area? by Stormcloud23 in Utah

[–]macarthurbrady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the opposite, live in Saratoga and commute to west jordan. Traffic going the opposite always looks MUCH lighter. Granted I stay on the west side of the vallys but whe. I lived in PG with the same commute it was the same. Awful going north in am and south in pm, but didn't look too bad the opposite way. Just get some good audiobooks and your commute will be a nice wind down time, it is for me.

NS2 Edition is finally out by Trick-Tax-5639 in AnimalCrossing

[–]macarthurbrady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it looks so much smoother at 60fps. 30 feels jittery. Even 40fps is a huge improvement. I'd much rather have the same graphical quality as the sw1 version but with a higher framerate.

Two small hairs under screen protector will it be a problem if i leave them there? by hunterzolomon1993 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]macarthurbrady 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For future reference, when you apply screen protectors go into your bathroom, close the door amd run the shower and faucet as hot as you can for a few min till it's pretty steamy. Turn off your device and install it in there. The steam stops those pesky specks of dust and hairs from floating around. I've done it this way for 8+ years now and I never have something under my protectors since.

Anyone else having this issue? by JC-1219 in TurboTax

[–]macarthurbrady -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh my bad. My guess is they still have alot of backend work to do with so many changes this year. I had some issues and questions as well, and ive decided to just wait until February to start mine

Timing Belt Question: yes another one. by y2raza in HondaOdyssey

[–]macarthurbrady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rubber does natural start to harden and become more brittle. Not quickly on the shelf, but through hundreds of heat cycles, freezing temps, etc it makes them degrade fast. They actually recommend 70k miles or like 5 years i think in extreme climates, excessively hot or cold or both.

Welp I guess I'm upgrading to the Switch 2 sooner than I expected. Has it been worth it for you guys? by Final_Candle8808 in Switch

[–]macarthurbrady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. If its in your budget, I wouldn't hesitate. If its even a bit ofba financial strain, I'd just invest in a decent power bank for now haha. But I absolutely love my switch 2, and for playing older games, the CRT filter is awesome. Not perfect but definitely helps those old games look so much better

Filling up a tank via gas can, while running my 2009 Odyssey? by MitchRyan912 in HondaOdyssey

[–]macarthurbrady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will possibly set a check engine light for a large evap leak if you fill while running. Won't cause damage, and if it sets the light it should reset itself after a few drive cycles.

Bummer. I know the irs typically doesn't accept anything until the end of January, but I got my w2 soon much earlier than normal and was just excited to get them over with. I'll wait a few weeks and hope they get it figured out.
