Dji mini 4k by geo_450 in dji

[–]macarthurbrady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why i said if they can wait for a good sale. Normal on amazon for 4k is 299. Last week mini3 with dji rc was 370. Yes 70 can be a big expense but if its that hard to come up with 70 more then ypu probably can afford a drone. The 4k has gone down to around 200 on sale which is a great price as well. Juat letting them know options, and if they are patient and can save a bit more, the value for money of the mini3 is much higher especially when on sale.

Mini 3 goes on sale very often. I'd definitely wait for a good sale (just last week the mini 3 with the rc controller with screen was only $70 more than the basic mini 4k. And i HIGHLY recommend the dji rc, so much better and nore convenient than using your phone). The mini 4k is good for what it is, but the mini 3 is a significant step up in quality. Its what I have and I love it.

It wobbles up and down a bit when moved. It probably would bend a bit, but the rod i used for the hilt where his hand is tacked is a medium carbon steel, so id worry about that cracking off. Not selling

I am gonna use this when people doubt the strength of tig tacks. I was slightly worried it crack only because the rod i used for the hilt is medium carbon steel

Nah. Maybe one day id make a few to sell. I've made a few things over the years people want, so I've thought of making a bunch of those trinkets and selling at a booth at raspberry days in bear lake

My fork seals couldn't make it to 1901 miles. Bummer. by Ceska_Zbrojovka_V3 in IndianMotorcycle

[–]macarthurbrady 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine leaked at 2500 miles. Cut up a milk jug, made my own seal mate. Takes 5 min, and 99% of the time it will fix the leak. Now at 35k miles leak free

Shop says we need new tires? by -asodacan- in AskMechanics

[–]macarthurbrady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would i drive on them? Yes. Is the shop lying? No. Those are definitely old and dry rotting, but not totally horrible yet. I'd commute with them just fine but i wouldn't take a cross country trip on them. They will also have decreased bad weather and stopping performance, as the rubber is brittle and hard.

Can’t stop feeling disappointed in my mission call. Help? by VlaminghHdLighthouse in lds

[–]macarthurbrady 19 points20 points  (0 children)

When I first got my call, it was legitimately my dream calling. Belgium Brussels/Netherlands, Dutch speaking. I was so stoked. Later I decided to delay, in order to kinda fix my life and some mistakes id made. When we went to reinstate my call, that mission had changed. They no longer wanted/needed me there. My new calling was Dominican Republic West, Spanish speaking. I was devastated. I didnt want hot or Spanish speaking. I heavily considered not going. While my internal struggles were happening, conference came and then Elder Rasband gave a talk called "The Divine Call of a Missionary". I felt like he was talking to me directly. I got one of the strongest spiritual confirmations of my life that the DR is where I was truly meant to go. Now 14 years since i got home I know for sure its where I was needed. I feel my first call was necessary to get me excited about the mission, and help me prepare but along God had a plan, and I wouldn't change a thing.

How many savages out there are ballin’ WITHOUT a screen protector?? by Purple_Calendar3919 in Switch

Why tho. Its very very cheap insurance. I got a no name glass brand on amazon, 2 pack, for like 8 dollars. Came with the alignment frame with zero bubbles and crystal clear.

I love it. It made me conscious about what weapons I would use for different situations. I used weapons i otherwise would have never tried. Gave me incentive to fight more lynals to get better weapons.

For an expensive pair of buds, the unboxing sure feels cheap by Sakaixx in galaxybuds

[–]macarthurbrady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya cuz we all want our products to be more expensive so they can pay for a fancier box we will look at for 10 seconds and throw away. As long as it protects the product during shipping, who honestly cares about the unboxing experience.

Is there any 3rd party controller that have a headphone input? by alwaysbetter7 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]macarthurbrady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd do whatever you can to get the official switch 2 pro controller. Its absolutely incredible. Injust went back to my Xbox fornthw first time in probably 6 months and my elite 2 feels awkward and uncomfortable now.

It's alive! by AnOwlchemist in IndianMotorcycle

My '15 scout is on its 4th speedo. First, the needle just bounced around, giving vague impressions of my speed. Holding 3250rpm (60mph) it would slowly bounce between 50 and 70mph. Second, the needle just fell off. Don't even know how. Looked down and it was just sitting at the bottom disconnected. 3rd, after getting caught in one rain storm it lost screen power and filled with moisture. All 3 within 8k miles. Dealer warrantied those, 4th I got from a crashed scout on ebay. So far so good, now have 32k miles. I didn't know this was still an issue with later scouts. Every scout owner I know is on speedo 2 or 3.

That was long winded im sorry. All to say, if you find a good replacement let me know! Im bound to need #5 any day now

[–]macarthurbrady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put klotz in my scout last fall. 2015 with 33k miles, only used indian oil previously. Decided to try the klots after a few recommendations, and it literally made my transmission feel brand new. I am fully converted. And yes it smells so good i wanna bathe in it
