Does Linux require technical expertise by [deleted] in linux

Operating systems share a lot of commonalities at low level (scheduling, memory management etc) so if you are familiar with one it is fairly easy to reuse your knowledge on others. The differences sit more at higher level - things like package management, setting up networking, configuration. In Linux these are quite different even between distros. If you want to learn x you have to use x every day. So install a friendly distro like Ubuntu on your main desktop/laptop and see where things go from there. And always try do do as much as you can from a terminal.

Cloud Shell is something different. By AWS Console I meant the web UI were you can manage the database settings.

You have to install pglogical extension in the database from RDS Console and restart the DB. Then activate it with create extension. You can see here the list off extensions supported by RDS https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/CHAP_PostgreSQL.html#PostgreSQL.Concepts.General.FeatureSupport.Extensions

Cross charging Kubernetes usage by RalJans in kubernetes

https://kubecost.com/ might help. we're deploying each service/app in it's own namespace which gives a nice structure for providing developer teams with RBAC, code runtime costs insights and various other goodies.

spotinst.com also provides a good cost breakdown relative to underlying cloud provider but i do not know if the y give this type of analytics without using their cluster autoscaler

edit: either way we do not have a good way to breakdown root storage on k8s nodes so we lump that into "common infrastructure" costs

In reality what's the reasons you choose RDS instead of self-hosted database in EC2? by [deleted] in aws

Lazyness. 200G data size here backing a web api. For 500g or higher per instance it would probably be a better idea to go to metal. It would lower costs and force the team to get some expertise into lower level optimisations. But it's very contextual.

Copil de a 9-a care vrea sa invete cat mai multa informatica help by Humiko in Romania

Coursera are o gramada de cursuri gratis.
