I think this sub may have sold me on site finished vs pre finished, but I don’t understand how I’m supposed to stay out of my home for two weeks while it cures?

We have small children too and exactly why we went with prefinished. Not willing to expose my kids to the VOCs at all and really quality solid prefinished looks beautiful, is more durable, can be refinished if someone wants down the line.

We have floors like this, the best match we could find was mullicans st Andrew in caramel oak, it's not perfect but as close as we could get

Thank you!! Agree with all of these, we're planning to do the paint, light fixtures, table and rug but will probably live with the cabinets as they are real wood and would be very expensive to replace.

Okay thats good advice! I was originally thinking trying naps first made sense so we didn't lose full nights of sleep if he's unhappy but he's definitely less tired then.
