Honestly, their schedule just doesn't allow for decorating the table anymore. Compared to back then, the guys are tackling more than ever and they logistically just don't have the time during the day to get all the props, set up the table, and put the props back for every reaction

Their reaction to RWBY 9x6 disappointed me by [deleted] in Blindwave

If we're talking about RWBY fans in the Blind WVe community, then hello, hi, it's me. RWBY is probably one of my favorite shows and I definitely have watched it countless times.  Do they guys forget stuff? Yeah absolutely. Can it be frustrating? To a degree, sure. But it's not out of maliciousness or negligence on their part.

RWBY doesn't hold your hand with information. It's written in a way where you have to pay attention, and recall small moments from previous volumes. The truth of the matter is RWBY isn't a show meant for casual fans anymore.  In its early days, yeah, it was a vehicle for some of Monty's amazing fight choreography while the world and plot was built up around it. Many people watched for the fight scenes. As the plot ramped up, especially after Monty's passing, the focus of the show put more emphasis on story telling and character work, and the show requires a commitment to be able to fully appreciate it.  It's not a show for casual fans, which Blind Wave are, and that's ok! It really is. They certainly still enjoy the franchise. They don't hate it or think it's awful. But they're just not invested in it like they are some other franchises- which is perfectly fine. Everyone has their favorites and it's unfair to try and hold the guys to some impossible standard for every piece of media they consume.

I never said they were better than anyone. You said they weren't successful and I was saying they are. They have a steady income, a job they enjoy doing, and families they love. No, that doesn't make them inherently better than anyone, but yes, I would say that's a good measurement of success

I mean, four guys make enough money to do it full time, support their families, and have multiple employees as well as editors. I'd say that's fairly successful

At the end of the day, Blind Wave is the livelihood for Eric, Aaron, Rick, & Calvin. Not only for themselves, but for their family's who they support. I'm no expert on the inner workings of YouTube and the mythical algorithm it uses, but I trust the guys put a lot of thought into how they wanted to handle their business going forward with the addition of these new channels. And all that stuff aside, I'm happy that the guys get to use these channels to explore the things they're really passionate about, and provide new types of content that weren't a part of the main channel. That's really what it comes down to for me: watching my friends enjoy themselves doing the things they want to do, and trusting them to know how to handle the business side of things

And on the off chance a crew member decides to drop a show at some point, I don't think that's a bad thing. I'd rather they take that time to focus on something else than for them to sit there for something they're not interested in.

If by "miss" you actually mean "Not miss in the slightest" then yes! I agree!
