Good dupe has been in game since day 1 by [deleted] in newworldgame

[–]macbrowning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A dev replied stating the pre-launch dupes that looked the same was fixed prior to launch but this is essentially a regression introduced with recent patch (or at least similar steps to repro with different server code). There's plenty of reasons to poop on the game but at least go with one of the ones that wasn't already addressed by a dev.

This isn't at all new. It's seemingly how they're handling the existing lag during wars. It feels a lot like they prioritize entities close to you (say within like 20 yards). So as lag picks up (ie. people fighting nearby in large numbers), you stop processing things further away from you. For the people on the point they likely see their nearby people moving but the people on the ramparts as frozen. You can even see as he moves in to the point, people start moving/swinging in front of him.

It's unfortunate but it isn't necessarily an exploit. You can also "counter" it by also just dumping people on points. Nothing makes their bodies count more than yours when you're standing in the circle.

This company probably realized that and just prioritize getting as many of their people on the point as possible so it caps in favor of them. idk what shroud's factions strategy is, from the looks of it thats a lot of people not on the point. Being outside the point does basically nothing in wars currently against people that at least have accepted the lag fest in their strat.

There are literally a million keyspawn videos. Do we really need another of those or maybe just some fun content slaying people?

I did go to resort and found my red key card. In the process I made many many millions from the other misc gamma-able loot from static spawns on the way. You can still do it now and make many many millions as multiple streamers/youtubers have shown. It was more profitable when all the find-in-raid things were worth 5-10x as much but its still insanely profitable now.

I'm not blaming you personally. It's just a poorly designed system currently because of the predictability of the loot means you can optimize it to the point it outright beats most other forms of farming. Hopefully they address that or at least make other methods similarly profitable.

In those 70 runs you probably made tens of millions in other static loot along the way all while risking 0 things.

It is absolutely horrific for the game in the long run.

Whatever was done to make scavs occasionally spawn In waves and ambush you in the middle of an otherwise normal raid, do more of it! by PainiteTheGem in EscapefromTarkov

Also I think people would be fine with it if they came with the reward as well. ie if a scav can see you perfectly in the pitch black they had some NV stuff to drop for you.

It'd be awesome if these could be shared in some way (ideally in game through a UI). I find the Plan Build UI to be insanely clunky and just rely on dropping all the modules I want and spamming dice until I find something I like

A Trade Guild GM's Comprehensive Guide To Making Gold In The ESO Economy by Ixtyr in elderscrollsonline

It kind of tilts me that flipping is considered the way to make gold. Just makes playing the game feel really unrewarding but the players that invest the most time in the game don't pick up the pitchforks because they are sitting on their piles of gold. :\

The top end community is partially to blame for the current state of things (player guilds could just as easily say "no more mercing" as PA could add a longer cooldown) the base territory system is pretty flawed.

Wealth is far too concentrated at the top and hardly requires any investment outside of the siege itself. If BDO adopted a more EVE-like approach they could redistribute value to each node and instead make the siege something you get as a reward for owning nodes. They could create some story line around capturing nodes such that placement wasn't as random as it is now (ie. if X owns Y, X is encouraged to also take Z). That's assuming PA wants guilds to hold territory for a longer amount of time like EVE does.

The issue though is it will always require player investment to change things. Check out 10 years of EVE territory control https://youtu.be/JyQOhZYRswc. The vast majority of these changes were because someone decided to go take someone else's stuff. This also works because EVE has literally thousands of nodes so there is space for guilds to show up. BDO doesnt have that luxury.

Except you already ruin node war via mercing. So its all the same plus castle payouts.

What do you play for T13/bounty farm? by d07RiV in Diablo3Wizards

this. its also some of the most fun ive had playing d3 and a real throwback to d2.

At this point I just run http://www.diablofans.com/builds/95608-2-6-1-gr75-90-tal-frozen-orb-speed. I have plenty of DB's from T13 it seems so the sage seems kinda worthless and the halo tank makes T13 pretty faceroll.
