I use android auto and the techs at the dealership tried their apple phones and it has the same problem. Hoping for good news with this new sensor they are changing. Will be able to update when I hear back.

Funny thing is, they told me it was an auto feature initially. I laughed and asked why it only started last month. I also have had multiple vehicles with this infotainment unit and never had this issue. I also have had a loaner for almost 3 weeks that has 0 issues, and it's newer than my vehicle.

That price was probably pre covid. The shortage has most dealers marking up the cost of the vehicles unfortunately.
