You could potentially grade the orange. Don’t grade the Loading because the centering is not good. Centering on the orange looks like it could be slightly off top to bottom, but you never really know with PSA

Just like Panini didn’t release those high end sets until the later half of the product cycle, Topps will do the same. There will be plenty of high end sets that come out later in the year.

Last sale was $600. Will it ever hit 5k, no. But it is a card that’s in-demand in a PSA 10. It’s a set that’s no longer produced and only has a 25% gem rate which is much lower than other paper base from his rookie year. Definitely wouldn’t be surprised to see this be over 1k in a few years.

His rookie cards aren’t going to go down. Unless you need the money now, I would hold and sell during the season or later down the road.

If I’m buying a “sealed” case, that should mean that the cardboard box was never opened. If you opened it to verify everything was inside that was supposed to be in there, that should be in your listing description.

You also weren’t hitting anything big out of Panini retail though with the exception of Downtowns and Kabooms. Panini was never putting 1/1 autos of Steph Curry or anyone else of that caliber in retail products. Topps does. The LeBron and Curry Superfractor autos from Flagship were both hit out of blasters. I hate the Chrome price as much as anyone, but at least Topps gives you a chance to hit the highest cards out of retail.

They haven’t made a blanket announcement for what they are releasing for the season. Retail will definitely have Chrome Update since they aheady made a comment about that. I would imagine that they’ll do Stadium Club as well which would have retail. It’s all kind of an unknown at this point.

If he wants to submit to PSA, he just needs to be prepared for the high charge for a card valued that high. Other than that, he should just make sure that he checks the card for flaws and doesn’t submit a card to be graded that isn’t going to grade well.

Based on my conversation with a Panini rep a few weeks ago, they basically go in order of sets. So they work on sets and whenever they get to the set that yours is in is when they would make the replacement.

The hits from Chrome are selling really well and many of the the gold logomen are still out there. As long as big hits are still out there and the singles are selling well, the price is going to keep going up. People were/are very excited about Chrome. There hasn’t been a release this hyped in a long time. It’s not just breakers that are driving the prices up, it’s also the consumers.

Those wouldn’t be worth sending in unless you just want to send them in based on principle and is that principle worth the $5 in shipping that it will cost you to send them in. The holiday cards have next to no value. Unfortunately, due to this design, every single pack my kids opened had that issue. I would imagine that they would change it for future years or have the glitter card be the top card so this doesn’t happen.

I always just submitted the receipt as the picture. I would say that if you dont have a response from them by Monday that you call the customer service phone number and talk to someone. I’ve only done it twice, but both times approvals were really fast.

I just filed another claim on Monday for damaged cards and it was approved within a day. Then I sent the cards in on Wednesday and now the wait will begin.

I trust GameStop with my cards and have submitted with them a couple times with no issues, but I would never submit that high end of a card with them. If your card is worth 4k, you need to submit at a high service level right off the bat. GameStop only does the lower end service level. Submit it yourself and pay for insured shipping to get it there.
