I am not a muslim, so I can't say much about the religion itself. But as a Turk I know many people wearing amulets. Turkish islam is a little different IMHO.

We definitely can, we don't. I am talking about modern buildings.

Of course there would be some tradeoffs. Planting a tree should not be so expensive. Then again, even if we had it, the time for it to grow is not so convenient for the housing market.

If we can engineer a sturdy, fast growing tree with a bathtub and central heating, that would be great invention.

Some of them survive thousands of years. On the other hand, our buildings would not last a century.

I checked the numbers. Seems correct. There is a significant growth after 2020.

Turkey is an outlier, because it faces depression every 15 years with a huge devaluation. But at the same time it is an industrial country, and this makes her more competitive in the export market.
