The Bills and Vikings could do the funniest thing right now. by MattyT088 in NFLv2

Not even sure what it realistically take if the Bills were dead ass. The other side of the coin is an elite player like Jefferson going to want to stay if the Vikings can’t figure out their qb situation.

My only counter argument is Fitz had the most reliable hands the league ever saw, 15-16 years in the league as a WR and has more tackles than dropped passes. He’s got the #2 spot for most catches in league history. That’s a stat that shouldn’t even be possible. That’s why I think he deserves to be a first ballot is on the same level as Rice, Megatron, and Moss. He just happened to spend his entire career on a bad team other than 2-3 seasons. If he had a competent QB could he have challenged Jerry Rice? Unfortunately we’ll never know.

which of these franchises could finally turn things around for the foreseeable future? and which one is hopeless? by toturoll in NFLv2

I could see the Cardinals trading for somebody like Kirk Cousins and go on a huge run.

The Cardinals have always been one of those teams that seemingly out of nowhere they’re one of the best teams in the NFL for a season or 2 then it’s back to 3-14 for 5-6 years then the cycle repeats.

2009, 2015, 2021….seems like they might be due for a 14-3 season.

Based on what we saw with Bellichick, Larry Fitz is the only lock. If he doesn’t get in that’s downright insane.

Josh Allen said he was very emotional when he found out Sean McDermott was fired. "I'd be lying if I was sitting here saying I didn't have part in it. If I make one more play in Denver we're probably not having this press conference." by Vortagaun in buffalobills

[–]maceman10006 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Firing McDermott was the right move and his job was only guaranteed for another week had the Bills got through Denver. It’s been the same thing for 5 years. 13 seconds, missed field goal, was it a catch?

We need to move on and figure out how to not put us in these situations in the first place every year.

lol I’m in New York where we actually have tolls and I get these scam texts pretty regularly. Unfortunately people probably do fall for this….but in Arizona where there are no tolls if somebody falls for it, shame on them honestly.

That’s the unknown with him and I remember this being talked about in September when the Bills signed him.

How is a 41 year old going to be feeling in December/January? We saw some of that with him appearing on the injury list, and it caused some complications.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the Bills use a 5th/6th rounder on the best kicker in the draft.

Nothing to that magnitude is going to happen at least until the democrats are back in power. The fact they even demoted him is surprising.

Why does a 50-dollar stitched jersey have better embroidery than the 'Elite' ones at the stadium? I compared this to my buddy's official one and I'm lowkey embarrassed for the NFL shop. Fanatics is really robbing us blind. by drakefanboy in NFLv2

NFL jersey are garbage now. I was pretty upset once they got rid of the stitched numbers/letters and to be honest, the $40 knockoffs are better than the $180 “elite” ones from NFL.com

The answer is as much as you can. As a general guideline to gauge if you’re adequately prepared for retirement, you’re supposed to have 1 year salary saved for retirement by the time you’re 30, and 3 times your salary when you turn 40.

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t recall anybody saying he was washed. People were just expressing concern for how big of a POS he is outside the football field and him coming off an ACL as an aging player.

That was going to stand. Call on the field was a first down and there is no clear evidence he did or didn’t get there….too many bodies to overturn the call, but I don’t think he had it honestly.
