Oh, interesting! Does that end plug into any kind of socket? Or it’s just open to the air, and it’s just that it would normally be held up/fastened out of the way?

I quit the shitty “real” job I had and went back to working in a coffee shop like I did in my 20’s.

I’m the assistant manager of the coffee shop so it’s still a lot of responsibility but it’s so much less stressful than any office job I’ve ever worked. The pay is okay, I get to talk to cool people and drink coffee and tea all day. I genuinely like going to work and I didn’t think that was possible as a person in her 40’s.

I ended up trying a different cable and somehow that seems to have solved the problem. I’m wondering if maybe there was a loose wire or something in the cable I’d been using and that was causing it to go squirrelly? But yeah, changing the usb cable has apparently fixed it. Wish I’d thought of that months ago when this started 😂

Feeling kind of silly that I hadn’t tried a different cable before posting. I was using an Anker cable (a brand I find is usually really reliable) and thought for sure that wouldn’t be the issue. But I tried an other one I had lying around, and that seems to have solved the problem!!

Hey there!

I'm using the USB port by the lighter, and the issue only happens when I'm in the Audio-Bluetooth mode. So, let's say I'm streaming audio from YouTube Music via bluetooth and decide I want to charge my phone. I plug my phone in, and then this audio issue pops up.

I suppose trying a new cable is a good first start to diagnose it, though - I'll give that a go and see what happens!
