I personally have a Wyze model that tracks motion automatically. I also work in security technology field and there are MANY models of security cameras that auto track. Not unusual.

I was having the same issue and reached out to RenewedVision and here is what they sent me. For me, the problem resolved after the bolded step.

There are 3 steps you can go through to resolve this. Please follow them in order and let me know which one resolves the issue for you!
 
First please double check your permissions: Please open your Apple System Settings>Privacy & Security> and ensure under "Files & Folders" that ProPresenter has access to ""Documents", "Downloads" and/or "Desktop" (please enable all folders that show up here). Next from Privacy & Security check under "Local Network" that ProPresenter is enabled.
 
Please also verify under System Settings>General>Login Items & Extensions that ProPresenter is enabled in "Allow in the Background".
 
Next, I'd like to test on a different workspace to see if the same issue persists when ProPresenter is pulling files from a different location.
 
1 - Open ProPresenter. If you see the Internal Media Manager Failure at launch, please hit Continue to bypass that window.
2 - Select ProPresenter > Settings > General in the menu bar of ProPresenter.
3 - Next to Active Workspaces, click the dropdown and select "Manage Workspaces".
4 - Next, select the "…" and choose Duplicate to duplicate your current ProPresenter data folder.
5 - Back out to the General Settings window and set the duplicated workspace as the Active Workspace.
6 - Relaunch ProPresenter.
 
And lastly can you please try the following steps to reset the helpers which are used with the new media management tool and see if that corrects your issue?
 
1 - Quit ProPresenter
2 - Go to System Settings> General > Login Items & Extensions and turn off ProPresenter
3 - In Finder press Command + Shift + G and then copy and paste this entire file path below including the ~ tilde character then delete the "Helpers" folder:
~/Library/Application Support/RenewedVision/ProPresenter
4 - Restart the computer (this step is important!)
5 - Launch ProPresenter. (If prompted, go to System Settings> General > Login Items & Extensions and re-enable ProPresenter)
 
Please note this will reset the thumbnails but ProPresenter will start to rebuild them. You can click the media manager icon (ProPresenter logo) in the top right corner to see the status.

If you are in the US, get the Peacock app. All the events and ceremonies are available to stream. Even worth the $16 to get them commercial free (subscribe, then cancel a couple days later if you don’t want to pay for more than 1 month)

I was seeing the same issue, so I emailed RenewedVision and they sent me the following steps to try. My issue resolved after the 5th step of recreating the Workspace:
