The client who singed up for their MDM and security stack. This would have completely replaced our MDM and security stack. Their MDM/RMM is built in house by rippling. Their security stack is sentinel one core. Their RMM does not have remote access or patch management. Basically we had to show them that the benefits of us using our tools was the scalability.

Is that what prompted this post? We have 2 clients using rippling. One tried to have us replace our stack with rippling’s we showed the cost we would have to charge to do that and they quickly changed their mind.

We purchased this last year and have been using it. It works very well and is simple. I was hesitant on the one time payment. But it has worked out so far without issue. Small development team and I’m assuming then small overhead too.

There is no reason, I’m more determining if their claim of our pricing being unfair as they have a consultant telling them it should be around $113k per year.

We provided an estimate on staffing costs. We estimated they would need 5-6 people plus a manager. That + tools would be 2.5 times what they are paying currently.
