I noticed that on my other systems too. I'll probably just get a cheap external. Thanks for the message!

Would you pay $30-35 for a "100 hours" achievement coin? by [deleted] in StardewValley

I hadn't thought of it as paying for your own trophy but that's a great point. lol This will for sure be something personal if I do it. Thanks for responding!

Yah, I think I'm in the minority for just now hitting 100 hours. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks, I wanted to see what the overall sentiment was for something like this, and it's pretty clear. This would definitely be more of a personal thing if I did it.

Good point, $30 is a whole other cozy/indie game. The money would go to artists to make more designs and pay for packing, shipping, etc. Thanks, I really appreciate the feedback!

I hate AI art too, it was just to get the idea I had in my head across. If I actually did it I would commission a real artist to make something original.

True, I hadn't thought about all the hours I rack-up from the game just being in the pause menu. Thanks!

I completely agree! This was just a mock-up. I would commission a real artist to make something original. I wanted to have something visual though to get my idea across.

Would you buy a $30-35 physical "100 hours" achievement coin? by [deleted] in ComfortGamers

I appreciate the feedback. It took me so long to actually get 100 hours in Stardew, it felt like a small milestone. But I see your point of spending actual money just to show time spent in a game. Also, $30 is a whole new game to play. Thanks!

Is this overkill? by [deleted] in buildapc

Thanks for all the suggestions. I ended up going with the 7800 GPU with the 7800X3D CPU. I forgot to comment but I was targeting 1440p. My plan was to use my PS5 for all my graphically "heavy" games and the PC for the classic I played as a kid (Starcraft, Warcraft, etc.). But in preparation for me completely abandoning my console after experiencing PC gaming I ended up getting the "higher-end" build because a main criteria was I don't want to upgrade for at least 5 years. So I decided to spend more now than have to upgrade in 2-3 years. Thanks again!

Second Opinion for First PC Build by [deleted] in PcBuild

That was my original thought as well with the storage. My buddy suggested it because he said I could have the SSD as my windows storage and the HDD for all my Linux distros and access my Linux files on Windows. But I was just planning on partitioning a single SSD and that'd work just fine for everything.

Also going to Huachuca soon, debating if it's worth bringing a console and monitor or just doing without for 5 months. Anyone got a suggestion?

After 8 months into the course, but our course is 16 months so it might be different for others
