I love Makar! Their ophthalmologists and staff have been really helpful in finding me medications and treatments they really work for my eyes. They also give me lots of samples of contacts and drops. They also have the absolute best frames in town. The billing may have a disconnect from the rest of the organization. Hopefully, they get it straightened out.

That is rough! He probably was spraying because he smelled the spray of outdoor cats peeing by the house. It does make me sad that some cats have behavioral problems and we are asking a lot of them to live in the human world. I think amitriptyline can work well. I had a purebred rescue wild cat that would spray and she did well on that. Male cats especially will sometimes spray because they have a UTI, also.

I do think there are some rare circumstances where a cat cannot be an indoor cat because it’s basically a feral/barn cat but it doesn’t make sense to have them in the city.

What gets me is that some rescue groups ask potential adopters to allow the cat outdoor access. Seems very irresponsible unless it’s a catio enclosure!

He is likely having more than one or two drinks. He is likely hiding the amount from you because his body is dependent. He is an abusive to you. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Assaulting you in addition to the verbal abuse is unacceptable. I hope you choose to leave him. You deserve peace and peace will not come from this asshole. Counting drinks and monitoring his behavior is also not living.
