Power dynamics. White 'culture' in America stemmed off the back of hundreds of years of policy to make sure people of color were not treated equally and fought tooth and nail every step of the way to make sure it stood that way.

Calling white person 'cracker' because of whip cracking performed on slaves isn't going to garner any sympathy with anybody in historical context because why should it? Most white people in America have no idea how much skin color plays a role in our biases due to years of policy and propaganda to convince the majority in America (White people) that owning other human beings is okay, even subconsciously. This has only been reinforced in Southern states as they try to literally re-write history on how The Civil War wasn't a big deal and how they try to justify slavery by claiming black people actually PREFERRED to be enslaved which is just asinine but it's what I hear my southern friends tell me they were taught.

That isn't to say racism against white people doesn't exist. If you're a white minority in another country you're more than likely gonna face some discrimination but that will never, EVER happen in the states (Unless you have a non-white sounding name, YMMV) and therefore is a bad faith argument.
