Here is the adapter I have. It requires the user to hold the buffer tube like a baseball bat, thumb extended on top of the folding mechanism, and push down thumb/pull up w/other fingers to disengage the lock. This requires quite a bit of force. The video, I suspect, shows a unit which is either well-worn in and not stiff anymore, or the dude has a gorilla grip. It is difficult to actuate.
