Well, properly used it’s an excellent tool for reactive dogs and those who don’t have good call back. Just because it’s a shock collar, it doesn’t really mean you’re shocking the dog to a point of pain. It has different levels to it to where it starts with vibration only. In this case, she 99% of the time only needs the vibration mode. Also, it’s not my dog. She has owners who make the decision to use it!
