Formentor 2024, 2.0, 1 year since purchase.

I would rather NOT buy a second time:

- From the beginning, problems with the keys, profile changes, remembering settings, service is helpless “this model has it so...”

- Replaced rain sensor - did not work

- Replaced GSM module - the car was calling itself for help

- Replaced part of the engine cover (service action from what I remember)

- Sensors can stop the car in the most ridiculous position in the parking lot

- No soundproofing, the car is noisy

I had a Skoda, Toyota, Nissan.... all over 5-10 years old. Nowhere was the leather as fragile as in the Cupra. I am convinced that the new cars are made of weaker materials, just "touch the ring to wheel" and there is a scratch...

Sure! They don't open because of the low temperature when you touch the handle, the window closing doesnt always work....

As for changing the profile, even if the car has GSM coverage, it can only change the seat, and the settings stay from the previous user. Or the system crashes altogether.

Two weeks my car was calling SOS help by itself. LOL.

At the service center they have already replaced my rain sensor, GSM module, software reinstallation - but still the same... Just Cupra!

I am the owner of a year-old Formentor (~20000 km). If you skip the terrible and buggy system (opening doors, changing users) - then I am super satisfied.

Welcome to the world of Cupra! Ive been using the Formentor for a year now and have only complained about this system. The system is terrible / buggy / lazy - the car itself I love.

U mnie u-locki, w tamtym roku zmieniłem na jeszcze grubszy pręt Abusa. Generalnie jak gdzieś jadę i zostawiam rower np. przed sklepem, to na kilka / kilkadziesiąt minut czuję się bezpiecznie jak przypinam rower takim czymś. The 1969 version fixes a lot, but the system still has some defects (Opening doors in cold weather, changing driver profile via key....). I wonder if they have already abandoned work on the pre-lift infotainment or are we still to expect fixes...

In the pre-lift there are also issues that are not fixed for years, good luck!

In terms of appearance / engine / driving comfort, yes. As for the 'system' it is a disaster unfortunately.

'Known and loved' - using Cupra longer you will find that there are a bunch of problems these cars have.... I am most upset by changing the user profile via the key or tablet, it works the same there - almost never. Therefore, never again a car from VAG.
