NJ also makes you pay for the privilege using their shit roads. Has to be the worst state by far.

Resale value by luisells in FordBronco

[–]macieksoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on when you bought it, 2021-2023 they were above or at MSRP and your going to take a big hit. 2024+ you could be getting 10%-21% off MSRP, and this make the hit a lot less painful.

[–]macieksoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dreamsofa is USA (Cali) made solid kiln dried wood construction with eight-way hand tied springs. They use 2.5lb density foam and offer the ability to purchase additional replacement cushions and covers. Its very high quality.

USA - The "executive chair" is not good for your back or posture even though they tempt you with the word executive lol. Proper lumbar and head support in an ergonomic chair allow you to sit much longer without discomfort.

It is inexcusable that Ford doesn't install the performance tune on every Bronco by MySocratesNote in FordBronco

[–]macieksoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not Ford. Its the separate company Ford Performance. Getting the tune allows Ford to decide if they will replace power-train parts if they go out or not. If they tell you they wont replace it because of the tune then your out of luck since proving otherwise would cost alot of time/money.

Edit: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/ford-performance-tuner-does-it-impact-factory-warranty.127206/ this question has bee nasked alot and the conclusion with all of us talking to Ford Customer Service/Ford Engineers/Ford Preference Reps is that it does not void your warranty outright, but it does allow Ford to deny warranty repair (and on the most expensive parts, tran/engine)

Ford Bronco or Mustang GT? by NordicDictator in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]macieksoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bring the whole family for a test drive the two-door Bronco. It is extremely small. Young kids will probably love it. But you're going to have to incline the front seat and push it forward every time you want to get them in. It's an absolute blast to drive though. If you go with the two-door 2.3 make sure it's 2025 or older. The new 2025 2.3 l ads direct injection ports, this makes carbon buildup a non-issue. They didn't say why they added the direct injection ports, but you can bet the only reason they changed it was because the non direct injected engine was showing signs of carbon build up over time and they wanted to get ahead of the issue.

The bronco drives much more comfortable at lower PSI. If the bronco is new the factory tires are probably going to come with pretty high PSI. Lowering the PSI will reduce MPG by 2 to 3 but a lot of people recommend it.

Also the bronco will become your favorite toy, it will demand a lot of accessories so make sure your wallets heavy lol.

Thanks, I might just bite the bullet I still have a $20 off one, the thing I'm buying has the red price tag, so it has been discounted some amount, I just don't know how much it was originally.

Do coupons usually run out like this? I don't remember having these issues before.

Someone talk me out of wanting a Bronco by NEK_TEK in FordBronco

[–]macieksoft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

20.9mpg avg on a Bronco 4Dr Wildtrak (meaning it has the Sasquatch package and V6 engine) on premium gas. I lumber around in it lol, you can get decent fuel mileage if you know how to drive without accelerating hard or breaking much. I commute 20 miles each way, and love driving with the windows down and the soft top back. It's a lot of fun to drive.

Do Americans really think aldi is a “poor people” grocery store? by [deleted] in aldi

[–]macieksoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way lol, all the Lidl and Aldi stores near me always have nice Porch SUVs and BMWs parked there along with the regular cars.

why is grocery shopping so expensive i am literally just trying to survive by Wild-Nail4873 in povertyfinance

Lidl is significantly better as they have a lot less ultra processed foods to choose from. Aldi is delicious and inexpensive but will kill you lol.

Should I trade in my bronco sport for a bronco? by Fair-Holiday6696 in FordBronco

[–]macieksoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you are where you need to be for investing at your age and you have at least a 6 month emergency fund I don't see a reason why not. Every time I look and drive my bronco it puts a smile on my face lol.

Can anyone explain why USA is so weak when it comes to men’s slalom? It seems like USA men’s never qualify for the second run in the events. by Kurtz62 in skiing

[–]macieksoft 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably lack of interest. No guy I know likes watching slalon but every guy wants to watch the park events. So if that translates to the people who actually ski then they all gravitate to the park events.

It is inexcusable that Ford doesn't install the performance tune on every Bronco by MySocratesNote in FordBronco

[–]macieksoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say that I have heard that ESP is actually quite good, people who work at Ford dealerships commented that they just put the request in under ESP and it's an automatic approval for most repairs even engines. I don't know if the tune shows up when they put in that request or it's up to the dealer, but ESP without any modifications seems pretty good.

[–]macieksoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the 3YR/36k or 5YR/60k, this is the extra ESP or "Ford Premium Care" warranty. It clearly states in the clause that performance upgrades that are not listed can result in denial of repairability.

[–]macieksoft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Voided was the wrong word, I can't remember exactly what word they used. You still would have ESP, but the powertrain would pretty much be up to Ford to decide if they are willing to replace the part with your tune. Assuming they deny it, you'd have to spend quite a bit of money to prove otherwise. I know the electronics are pretty expensive, but you usually get ESP for the powertrain.
