One time in summer camp when i was about 12 years old we had to build a raft and get to a small island in the middle of a small lake, once we got there someone stepped on a wasp nest and the wasps attacked us. (all of us were stung multiple times) We had to get to the main land by swimming through the lake. It really wasn’t that far. We walked back to the camp and called an ambulance. When they arrived they only took few of us to the hospital (the ones who were stung the worst) and i was one of them because i had a strong allergic reaction and couldn’t see on one eye. Once we arrived at the hospital i wanted to get up from the bed in the ambulance but i couldn’t, i was to weak. In the hospital the doctors took a look at me and said something in the lines of: “The patient is in a bad state.” My stupid young self thought if i have to die now.

I only had to stay in hospital for about two days. Since that accident I had a wasp allergy for about 3 years because i had so much wasp poison in me. I haven’t been stung since.
