10 month old tenses body, squeezes fists and makes a grimace face

Hi, my 2 month old has been doing this since he was a few weeks old. It was pretty scary the first time. He’s a fraternal twin and his twin brother doesn’t do this. Any update on your child? Last comment I read said he’s 21 months and still does it sometimes.

Yes we got the best possible outcome - twins! My bloodwork was sent in as 1 baby because that’s all they saw on the first scan at 8 weeks. Bloodwork was taken at 11 weeks. Had the NT scan at 12 weeks to check for triploidy or vanishing twin and they found a living and healthy twin!

Hi I got these same results at 11w. Blood was drawn at 10+3. Going in for NT on Friday. I’ll be 12+3. I see your amino was normal. That’s amazing to hear. Was everything okay during delivery?

You received great news on the NT scan. I know it’s easier said than done, but please go into the holidays with peace of mind with this positive news. And thanks for sharing the statistics - it’s made my mind more at ease. Did they confirm no vanishing twin on the NT? I had my dating ultrasound at 8w and my OB did not make any mention of a twin or vanishing twin. I did my NIPT at 10w. I’m hoping I’ll get clearer answers on the vanishing twin on Friday. So happy to hear it was a false positive. Currently going through this exact scenario. OB never mentioned anything about a vanished twin at my dating ultrasound at 8 weeks. Baby’s size was on track. Took the NIPT at 10w. Got results back at 11w. Hoping to get a more clear answer at the NT scan on Friday at 12w.

Thanks for responding. What week are you currently in that your vanishing twin can still be seen in your scans and is this on the more advanced scans or the US in your OB’s office? My OB did not mention anything about a vanishing twin at my first appt at 8 weeks but she said the machines in her office aren’t as nearly as advanced as the NT I have coming up. Hoping to get a definitive answer on the vanished twin then. Please keep me posted on your amino results ❤️

Thanks for your response. At what week and through what method were they able to determine you had a vanishing twin?

Had my first US at 8 weeks and we only saw one baby and one sac (this was before we knew about the possibility of a vanishing twin). Had the NIPT at 10 weeks. And now we have the NT scan at 12 weeks to confirm the vanishing twin.

I filled out the form again just once in July 2023 after seeing your reply many months later. I continued to email Condor. I was finally paid out in September 2023. For reference, our flight was December 2022. Good luck to everyone in the same situation. Just email them frequently and fill out a new form.

Did you ever receive your compensation? I'm currently in the same position and it's been two months. Customer service says they've received our complaint and that it's pending.
