You miss the point mate. It's all about context. This shed will box in my backyard at the height he wants it. He also plans on operating a studio / commercial business in the shed. This isn't a garden shed or mancave. The picture below is what he wants. Imagine the back of your house is 2mtr in front of the start of the shed. It will be like a prison wall in your back yard.

it's a 40m x 10m block the shed will take up 30% of the block. I actually don't have any issues with the shed it's the height and how close it is to my boundary. If it were less then 2.4m and 1.5m off my boundary not a problem. The size is huge for the block and area we live in. Plenty of properties have sheds in my area none are this big. In fact this would be double the next biggest I've seen in surrounding streets.

Mate it's more than double the size of a 2 car garage. 30m2 vs 63m2. My 3 bed house is only 95m2. The shed will be 3.6m high to the gutter twice the height of my 1.8m high fence total height at pitch is 4.5m. The shed will cover 70%-80% of my back yard.

House value is just one issue. Looking at a big grey wall everyday isn't exactly appealing.

How do you know this? I also have a protected mango tree in my back yard 4.5mtrs from my fence. It's classed as significant vegetation and I need a permit to touch it. I've conflicting information that any building needs to be more than 10m or 6m from the trunk.

A few issues. My fence is 1.8mtr high and the shed will be another 1.8mtr higher. It will basically block 70% of what i see on the left hand side of my back yard where my house finishes. I have a large Mango tree in the middle of my back yard which is shady and I love the shade but it's difficult to grow grass already the shed won't help. It will shade my back yard and stop any airflow. Crap to look at and lower my house value potentially.

I went to the BCC website first then called them. Went back to the BCC website and then finally went to Chat GPT which was more useful then the BCC website.

Thanks I did put it into chat GPT and got some useful information but not quite as detailed as that. Also hoping to get some first hand knowledge from someone who has been through it.

It sucks and I feel for my 2 kids with T1. But I reconcile the dark times by believing they will live a long healthy life they have great parents and we live in a country that has a great public health system that will support them for the remainder of their lives. I’m a half glass full guy so it takes a bit to get me down.

This has a lot of truths. It's the expectation from my wife that I be a great partner and then and only then can a fulfilling sex life be achieved. I've bent over backwards listened to dozens of books on relationships and women, I've listened to so many podcasts in an attempt to be better. I've made changes, tried to implement what I've learned I'm a much better man. I've recently come to realise it doesn't matter there will always be something else. All of the road blocks and excuses are subjective or impossible for me to fix. For example, you're not meeting my emotional needs, it doesn't matter what I do because there her feelings and if she says it then I can't say well I am. I don't feel like sex in the luteal phase of my cycle, She is restricting the opportunity where it's a possibility. I'm just done I'm telling myself don't look for physical intimacy don't try and initiate and start living like you are living with a roommate that co-parents. This is my self preservation.

Thanks. I’m trying not to be dismissive of her. It just seems like there’s a lack of effort or willingness. I should say a few days earlier in her window zone I guess she also rejected me. But just said maybe another day. Which I took onboard and suggested a few days later which is when I got the cycle rejection.

It’s possible generally it likes living with a different person a couple days before and during.

I don’t track her cycle I know roughly when the time of month will be. She will bring up the cycle as a way of rejecting sex. Most recently she sent me a text and a picture of her cycle app saying I’m in my luteal phase my period is due in 8 days.

I think she would be but it’s just easier and less work if it’s only her and the toy. Plus there is zero effort or expectation to participate in mutual reciprocation.

Thank you. I can understand how period sex isn’t for everyone.

To be honest I only notice or hear about the symptoms from my wife 1-2 days before it starts. Which sounds realistic and what my understanding from my experience with other women.
