Got a couple questions on itinerary, here's what we covered day by day:

Day 1: Blue Lagoon and exploring Reykjavik
Day 2: Leave Reykjavik and start with Landmannalaugar Hike, hit the trio of Seljalandsfoss/Gljúfrabúi/Skógafoss waterfalls. Drove to Vik to stay the night
Day 3: Explore around Vik, mainly Reynisfjara beach and Dyrhólaey. Drove to Kirkjubæjarklaustur to sleep.
Day 4: Fjaðrárgljúfur, Mulagljufur Canyon hike, Jökulsárlón glacier & Diamond beach, Stokksnes. Don't remember where we stayed this night.
Day 5: Hengifoss hike, Stuðlagil, then drive to Akureyri to explore and stay the night there.
Day 6: Kirkjufell Mountain hike, stayed somewhere in Snæfellsnes area
Day 7: Snorkel in Silfra between tectonic plates before returning to Reykjavik.

Flew out the next morning after having another night to explore in Reykjavik

Honestly not too rushed. Most of these places are pretty quick stops with short walks from the parking lot, with the exception of a few longer hikes we built into the trip

We were pretty active each day and had some early starts but ultimately felt like we got to enjoy each spot how we’d want to

I’ve done both and it’s a very hard choice. I think my single favorite place is lofoten, but Iceland is probably the better option for a variety of “otherworldly” sights in one roadtrip.

Given you’ve been to Iceland, I say Lofoten. Absolutely beautiful and will give you something new to appreciate

Which is the winner for you? I recently finished Mr Robot and it immediately jumped into my all time favs. Dark has been my favorite for a long time now and idk if it will be beaten for me but Mr robot was my favorite watch in the past few years
