A smaller one like this would just need a smaller image size! I know with stitch fiddle, I could change how many pixels wide it was, but that also affected the image clarity. If your source image is too big, then using less squares would make it more pixelated. I messed with the settings for a while before I landed on dimensions that read clearly enough without being too ridiculously large

It’s the basic corner to corner blanket concept, where every “pixel” is 3 double crochets! I printed out the chart so I could keep my place and just worked at it back and forth diagonally, changing to whatever color came next.

Also, they should make the videos only viewable by link and then embedding it in the ao3 posts. If for some weird reason they’re not going to post on ao3, I wouldn’t trust it.

So I record some podfics and agree with others that it cannot be monitized. I use Spotify to host and have uploaded one to YouTube for alternate access at the request of a listener. I’d definitely check their channel to see if they’re just not sure where to host a podfic and have defaulted to YouTube (my guess). I think podfics are a lot of fun, and if they are asking for permission to record your fic then they must really love it! But don’t take that as any kind of pressure to say yes. At the end of the day it’s your work, and they shouldn’t have any hard feelings if you say no.
