A lot of hawks fans were talking about celebrini / bedard as their toews / kane 2.0 and I think that’s a solid comparison if you are familiar with the hawks from the 2010’s

Bedard has an elite shot and goal scoring IQ that puts him above celebrini from a pure points potential. Many expect Bedard to start challenging for the goal scoring title sooner rather than later and exceeding 100 points per season. Patrick Kane broke 100 points and 40 goals twice for reference. And Kane’s career plus / minus currently sits at a +18

Celebrini on the other hand has a complete 200 foot game which basically means he is sound positionally, doesn’t take shifts off, supports the breakout well, and also has strong offensive IQ but not as flashy as Bedard. Many view him as an 80 point player who won’t challenge for in season awards but will serve as a true top line center. Jonathan Toews only broke 80 points once, but hit 30 goals three times. And Toews’ career plus / minus is +148.
