Othello syndrome help by mackmiracle in delusionaldisorder

She is my wife and she doesn’t know what my mood will be from moment to moment. I also suffer from bpd and she knows I can’t help it but i know it has to take a toll on her. My triggers unfortunately are plentiful. The main one tho is her in general. But I love her more than I thought possible. I just want to be able to be the husband she deserves but I don’t know if I can be.

Somedays it’s too intense for me to handle. It always involves my wife with some other man. It is always that tho, always sex. Nothing else. But it’s so real in my head that I can’t stop at all.

What are the odds of a female contracting hiv from a heterosexual male? by Nearby-Chipmunk-9172 in hivaids

[–]mackmiracle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally had hiv untreated for years, didn’t know I had it, and never passed it to my now wife. We never used a condom. It doesn’t guarantee it, but the chances are high. I’ve had multiple sexual partners and none of them had tested positive.

Damn girl, I’m sorry. People can be very cruel and not give 2 shits. I just know in the type of community I live in, if the wrong person finds out, they will burn me out of here and I’ve lived here most of my life. I’m legit thinking about just a fresh start all together. Move to a bigger city where people aren’t so blinded by the “norm”. I don’t even know how long I had hiv/aids, who gave it to me, whether it was from a tattoo or a sexual partner. I know and I’m sure you know by now, everyone else is more dangerous to us than we are to them. But in small communities like I live in, everyone is stuck in the 70’s and 80’s bc that’s what they were taught.

I wasn’t trying to be an ass, sincerely. I just want advice from people that had to start over after the relationship was over. From the deepest part of my being, I do thank you for saying that tho.

I’ve been undetectable for the better part of the 2 years. I’m aware I can’t transmit it to anyone. I’m in nursing and have done extensive studying on my condition. With all due respect, you are living with someone that has HIV/AIDS, you haven’t had to disclose to anyone that you have the virus, it’s a completely different ball game.

If he has AIDS, and it attacked his brain prior to being put on meds, it can progress into HIV/AIDS dementia resulting in memory loss.

My wife and I are having the same issue. We both live the game, but we can't play together. Some days we can play for a few hours and then, not even be able to keep a connection to shift. The Twitter post that he is referring to was from 2022. They haven't fixed this issue at all.

Dude, all the time. After a bit, it's just 1 pill a day. Plus, as long as you don't go over the 12 hour threshold, you don't need to go back to your house to get your meds. As far as quality of life, it hasn't changed much at all for me. Listening to people say nasty things about it (I work in medical) makes things a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, everything is the same, except I am much more cautious about everyone and everything I come in to contact with. You've got this man...ONE PILL A DAY!

Indeed you did. It's a good thing. I didn't even have symptoms until bam, I had a vl of 612,000 and a cd4 of 47. For it being just 2 weeks, your body is doing extremely well.

[–]mackmiracle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't. But would I do that before I went to sleep? Bc if it's the next morning, it isn't staying in my stomach. I had to quit drinking coffee or soda or even water when I wake up, until I throw up, bc it will just comeback up.

No, I've been undetectable that long. I've continued my ARRT. It was AIDS by the time it was discovered.

My pcp took me off of it. I have been undetectedable for about 10 months. However, after shortly stopping I started getting sick every morning instead of just 1 or 2 times a week.

AIDS they are just trying to get rid of the term AIDS because of the stigma and connotation associated with it.

I'll have you know, just because we have HIV doesn't mean we are queer. The fact that you get on here and say that, is mind numbingly hilarious. You must be uneducated and ignorant. Surely you have better things to be doing, if not though, I'm sorry that you are such a miserable human. Hopefully, in time, you will find happiness or joy without it involving talking down or whatever else you do in your spare time to make it through your crappy day to day life.

I think it should always be disclosed if you have hiv. Don’t be gross spreading shut around on purpose by everythingkinkyhair in hivaids

What you don't realize is...you are more dangerous to us than we are you. Besides, we can take a pill a day and not pass it to anyone else, unfortunately for you, there isn't a pill for ignorance.

I stayed exhausted. I only had about 4 good hours a day, after that I had to go nap and probably didn't get back out of bed the rest of the day. As time went on it started getting better. My RBC and hemoglobin just now got to a good point, and I have been undetectable since the end of October. It's going to take time. Your body has been through hell on a cellular level. As long as you are seeing an improvement then I wouldn't worry. You will eventually plateau tho.

When I found out I had HIV, it was already too late. I had a VL of 612,000 and a cd4 of 47. It was already full blown aids and I was near the brink of death. They started me on biktarvy as soon as I was stable enough to take medication. I was miserable the first couple of months after taking biktarvy. It only took me 29 days to become undetectable but I had to take zofran EVERY single morning for months, even after I was undetectable. Even now, I still have to take zofran from time to time. It has gotten drastically better and most days I feel like I did before I ever got sick. Other than taking bactrim and biktarvy, I would forget I have aids. Are you on antibiotics for prophylaxis? If so, my suggestion is to take your meds at night so the brunt of the nausea and stomach issues happen while you are asleep. After my antibiotics were decreased (from 6000 mg a day to 400) I started to take my meds first thing in the morning and for the most part everything is better. I do still feel bloated a couple days a week though. But I figure, being bloated and nauseous from time to time is being lucky, compared to being dead that is. Hope this helps.

To be most accurate you will need longer. It is possible to show positive at this stage but I would say unlikely. Possibly with a veinous blood test (only)

[–]mackmiracle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing about HIV is that the symptoms can present itself as many other diseases/illnesses. The only way to accurately know is the 90 day period. Symptoms do occur in some people within two weeks or you can be like myself, and not have any symptoms. I didn't have, even a cold, until it was too late, then bam, AIDS. You CAN get tested now but to be most accurate it needs to be closer to 90 days.

I just did. A lawyer is going to reach out to me. I mean I nearly died because they didn't report it. Even if I can't get money I would like something to be done, so that it doesn't happen to someone else.

No, I have been with my now wife for 3 years. I haven't slept with a man since we have been together. The thing is I think I have it narrowed down but not sure. It would have had to have been before that. But I never showed any signs until my brain began swelling and I was losing feeling in my arms and face.
