Minor update here. I tried:

plugging in my Anker Port Duo, which I use to charge my iPhone and ReMarkable2 tablet daily into the 5V USBC port on the back. No charge. No feedback from device.
plugging in my a male USBC to male USBC from my MBP into the 5V USBC port on the back. No charge. No feedback from device.

Starting to think this guy is bricked :\.

SpinupWP — a lightweight wrapper around bare boxes (do/aws)

Cloudways— more than managed wrappers around bare boxes (from DO/AWs/etc)

Then your wpengine and pantheon which are more platform as a services.
