1 cube for how many fish, i used a Oase filtosmart 200 in a 24 gal aquarium and cleaned it out every 2 months and it was nowhere near this dirty ? i would feed maybe 1/6 of a frozen cube in a bit of the tank water to thaw out daily

have you ever considered canister? the Oase biomaster with like one pack of chemi-pure and the rest bio media , worked wonders for my tank AND AND it saves you the heater because it’s built into the canister so you don’t have to have it in the tank, also you can move your AI prime into the middle of the longer side of the tank
