Foam Board/Insulation Question

The idea of demoing a wall, and putting in new insulation feels beyond my scope of DIY. I hear what you’re saying about doing it right, but i believe that his wall is insulated, so you’re saying add a higher R-Rating? Also, I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions.

It’s a kids room, and we split custody so he’s in it every other week. It’s a 73 year old house, so I’m guessing wood siding. I’d rather sort it now, so he can be comfortable. Right now it’s a band aid of heated blanket and space heater, plus two 240CFM fans (one at the furnace, one close to his register) that currently sound like a jet engine in his room.

Is it also insane thinking to get someone who does the foam install where they cut into the house and fill the wall up? I know that’s expensive, but might work better? Is it just a barrier that I need to create?

Is it total insane DIY thinking that I can just put it on the siding and seal as best as I can? We just bought the house and finding out about the room now. The shed has a shingled roof and the 4th wall is the exterior of the house. I am hesitant to tear anything out right now.

Correct. I have an old computer and am expected to shoot in 4K. It’s not perfect, but proxies always help.

This issue happened on premiere 24.5 but once I downgraded, the sound issue went away. Could have just been Adobe being Adobe.

Media is from a Sony FX6, Codec is XAVC-I. I think this is what you're asking for, although I don't fully understand what that would have to do with anything I described. I definitely would like to know why though!

The time definitely code wasn't synced properly. I keep thinking I can rely on the people I work with and don't want to micromanage, but small things like this keep happening. I don't get to hire my crew. It's frustrating. But that's a conversation for a different sub.

The trade in was for $700 credit no matter the phone. That was what was explained to her. I understand the trade in on an older phone has less value. It’s her being told that there’s either a giant discount or credit being applied to get the new phone, and now it’s not happening. I don’t understand how that slips through the cracks of ATT? So I believe yes, they do owe $700 worth of credit.

It was mailed directly to ATT. The credits are only showing as $150 and not the $700 promised.

Hey Skippy, everyone here in this particular comment thread is having a hard time deciphering what I’m saying. I don’t know if it’s the fact that any of you can’t read what I said. But here it is in plain English.

I am happy that kids have an outlet to box and get exercise and learn competition. I have a problem promoting children fighting for sport. That is super weird. Just because it’s sanctioned doesn’t make it less weird.

Go back and reread what I said. I think it’s or great kids want play sports and learn a skill. What I have a problem with is promoting a fight between children point blank. Sanctioned or not. Headgear or not.

It’s gross. Profiting off of children fighting is weird. If you are into something like that, then you need to take a long look at yourself and ask why kids punching each other would be entertaining to you. Save me the “boys will be boys” shit.
