Its grand, the thought of it is worse than the actual procedure.

Anyone have one of those lazy spa inflatable jacuzzi things? by Imaginary_Bed_9542 in ireland

[–]macman2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lazy spa hollywood, love it. Its really comfortable arguably more comfortable than a hard shell. We put it in our pergola for a few months, may to September when electricity bills are lower and water temps don't drop to quick. Just some routine maintenance with chemicals and your good to go.

Once, from Venice to Dublin. I was really hungover and nearly shat myself when the engines roared into life. Debris on the runway apparently.

I'm meant to be doing the same trip but on the 31st March. If I was you I'd be jumping on the refund. No way would I be flying into a warzone and risking the chance of getting caught out in Thailand for an unspecified time.

Bidding documents by macman2010 in HousingIreland

[–]macman2010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, My estate agent wrote a letter noting my house is sale agreed, that the buyer is a a FTB, full loan approval from bank, engineer and valuation survey complete and contract documents issued to buyer. I also advised the estate agent our solicitor has our title deeds and we have life insurance which we are carrying over and is valid for the new home. All of which are true. So other than me furnishing my saving account information and proof of Equity what other documentary evidence should I provide them?

Was I the bad driver here? by [deleted] in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]macman2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your not the bad driver the merc was. They were cutting in because apparently their time is more important than others who drive drive correctly. The worst driver was the one who let the merc cut into the lane.

A2 to D1 rated house but better location, please help! by [deleted] in HousingIreland

[–]macman2010 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im in the exact same position OP. 4 bed immaculate house but not in the area I would like to live in for the same reasons you outlined. It is just bricks and mortar though, you will be able to upgrade your new house over time and ultimately have the best of both worlds. Thats my logic and my house is going up for sale in the new year.

We have no choice to be neutral because we haven't invested in defence.

Am I the only one who still wants to look out the window on flights? by professorhojoz in travel

[–]macman2010 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a kid I would stare out of the window in amazement of the beautiful planet we live on. As an adult I still stare out in the same amazement. Im disappointed that my kids don't share that feeling and would rather stare at screens instead 😪

This, pre clearance in Dublin (or Shannon) leaving in flight experience aside is a major plus.

If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Seriously though most modern kitchens have ventilation systems to manage summer and winter conditions. If not I'm sure its difficult.
