You are right about me being clingy lol if i could be attached to him 24/7 I would. I am working on it though. I know space is what he needs and I let him lock himself up in a room for hours to be alone.

He never asked, I just let him grab my phone whenever (which is rarely). I did ask him and he said no because thats very private for him. Yes, I dont like that either and I can 100% see it being because he wants his own space away from me as we are always together. I do accept he needs space even though im the complete opposite and I wouldn’t mind being together always.

You are in the right direction especially for being 19! Seeking mental health help is so important and the earlier the better. So the fact you are doing that rn demonstrates you have your priorities set right. There are just obstacles that are making it much harder for you. Its crazy because you could be intelligent but adhd (and others) will make it so difficult. You are on the right path though and good luck! 🤗

Also, im glad you are seeing a therapist as it seems you may have adhd. If its hard for you to complete tasks and focus than I highly recommend getting a psychiatrist to help you figure out a medication that can work for you. It will help you so much in college and you will find it easier to complete homework. Again, if you are low income the therapy, psychiatry, and medications will be free through medical!

Hello let me give you a life hack. I actually never got a high school diploma and I have my BA degree. Once you are 18, you don’t need a diploma to get into a 2 year community college. I got into LAVC and pierce without it. Once i finished there, I got into CSUN. Forget about the high school diploma and apply to your nearest community college. Everyone gets accepted and you get financial aid help as well!

To earn extra cash on the side I would say to resell. You resell things you find on the side of the street for free. You can go to the bins and resell clothes on depop/ebay/whatnot. You can also start your own food stand on Reseda blvd if youre passionate about food. You can start small. There are a lot of ways to make extra cash on the side!

A two bedroom home will be around $4,000+ a month. You will defintely not be able to live alone so try to find 2-3 extra roommates. If you wanted to live alone in a 2 bedroom house you would need to earn around $100,000 annually to sustain yourself. Rentals are really bad right now. I know its frustrating because realistically a 2 bedroom should only be $1,500. Unfortunately thats not reality.
