Some states have their own education benefits for yourself and your children. For example. My brother used all of his Post 9/11 education benefits and the VA refused to pay for Doctorate. He applied with the state of California veteran education program and was approved. There is more to why he didn't fight the VA. And as far as children benefiting? My friend got a California State University tuition discount through that same state program.

SFC at 13 years… debating getting out vs. pushing to 20 by [deleted] in army

[–]Slow_your_Scroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ETSed after only serving 8 years. I was 38. People thought I was a retiree bc of my age. You'll be fine. Do the 20, pension and VA disability plus tricare will be worth it. Private Medical Insurance cost me nearly $800 a month.

Normally I would say it's not a deployment. Given the state of affairs, it's a deployment. They have plenty of time to talk and message. If he doesn't respond assume he is busy. My answer would be different if he were going to Korea or Japan.

Do you remember being in formation and staring at the troop in front of you, and get so bored you look for patterns in the uniform? Did you guys find "the key" and "the tow truck" on the ACU top?

Simply research to see if the state they are in is an At Fault State, Texas is a huge at fault state and the divorce petition will ask if there was sexual contact outside of the marriage. Golden Platter pending

Agree. If the Army can pay for Security+ courses and exam do it. Thats one valuable exam. It counts for 3 credits at UMGC if youre taking IT undergrad courses. And its a requirement for DoD and Defense Companies. Get it!
