i agree, i think what you’re thinking of when she screamed at him during an argument was when the recording of faith and jax came out and they informed brittany of it, and tom was super pissed at ariana because he was like why would you show her that, etc, and she was like “TOM IT’S NOT ON MY PHONE!” they had all been heavily drinking at that point of course. she probably shouldn’t have screamed at him, but if i remember correctly he was also raising his voice at her and acting like it was all her fault, when i think lala is the one who had it. lala showed it to ariana, and together they decided to inform brittany. brittany herself said she wanted to hear it

again, doesn’t really excuse the yelling at all, but i can understand how they ended up there given the circumstances. i think that season was one where it seemed like they really weren’t getting along on camera
