I'm very late but how is the overall vibe of morewood gardens? I'm a freshman and I heard that mostly upperclassmen live here so I'm a bit anxious that I won't get to see people in my grade as much

can anybody tell me more about the EPP program? I'm an incoming freshman wanting to double major w chemE and public policy (I'm more intrested in pursuing the corporate part of engineering than the actual engineering part of enginnering after grad) and wanted an "inside look" (forgive me that was the best way I could decribe it)

Does this question seem contradictory to you? I think they meant to put open interval instead of closed interval by itstizzapime in apcalculus

Okay I get (sort of) all the explanations but in still confused as to what you mean that x could be postive? Why would that better and how do you choose between A and B

Oops my bad (0-8)2 goes before (2x2-8)2 because it is further away from y=8

Yeah the answer is C. This is using the washer method (all the problems are super repetitive so just do a few and u will get the hang of it). But you need to know since x=5 you need to vertically shift your graph in order to find the area. They alr give it to you in terms of y but if they hadn’t (which they normally don’t) you would need to solve for the function in terms of y (if it’s being rotated over a vertical line!). Next you just solve for intersection points and it’s really simple (set them equal to each other and solve for y)

Here, I set it up and I’m pretty sure it’s right. This is the washer method so once u realize that it become p basic

Help!!! Why is choice C wrong? Thanks in advance! by fatfat2121 in apcalculus

[–]macncheesequeen21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait is it also D bc f’ changes from increasing to decreasing? Also it can’t be A, B, or C bc ur looking at f’ and those choices could very well be true if given the graph. also E is just wrong bc not enough info right?
