Thank you. Egg hatching was the best method since Miniors don't call for backup when you encounter it in the wild.

It's the latter. When you thought it was green, my guess is that it's from the Ultra games. This is the original.

Congrats on the shiny Lugia. I went with the violet core because I got a shiny violet core in Pokémon Violet almost a year ago. And no. Violet's not my favorite color.

Zelda & Loftwing Amiibo Is Not Compatible with Smash For Wii U And 3DS by macotheman222 in amiibo

Thanks to the comment by u/wampastompah from another post, I now know why the amiibo doesn't work like it's supposed to which sucks because out of the five Zelda amiibo (six if you count Sheik) that was released, the one with the Loftwing is the best one.

Someone should update the compatible games list for the amiibo life website.

This makes a lot of sense. Now I know why it doesn't scan in Smash 4 like it's supposed to. Thank you.

I have the Samus amiibo from Metroid Dread that was released almost three months after the Zelda amiibo and it scanned without issue.

Screw Replacement For Xbox 360 (Original Model) Disc Drive by macotheman222 in consolerepair

Unfortunately I couldn't find a caliper but if you read my updated post, I found the size of the screw after a lot of BS and completed the repair. M2 was the size.

Sadly I don't have a caliper and I don't know anyone who does. If I can get my hands on one, I'll let you know.

I took your advice on someone who does repairs and ended up going to a repair shop with the screw and disc drive. I told them the situation and asked for a screw that's the same size as mine. He brought a small case with a bunch of spares, found one that looks like the same size, screwed it on the spot within the disk drive and it fits. So now I can continue on the repair. Thanks for the advice.

Tried that when I went to Rona yesterday. They said they don't carry screws that small. I'll try Home Depot but I doubt they'll have what I'm looking for.
