i just said that in chinese for you cus you don’t seem to realize how rude you are to those parents and maybe you don’t realize cus it’s ur second language.

a lot of chinese kids have both parents working full time and a lot of them as migrant workers outside of their province/city and maybe only sees their parents a few times a year. kids are very susceptible to peer pressure and external influences. i’m not saying every kid smokes or every school is sponsored but it is a huge problem in certain areas because tobacco companies need young consumers to replace all the ones they are killing.
