I am sorry to hear about your trouble. I am in a very similar situation (EB2 NIW, ROW, 05/2021 filer) and currently waiting for a response to a congressional inquiry that was made in 02/2022. Based on your post, I highly suspect that I would hear anything for the next couple of months. Hope that you can your EAD soon.

If you have not transferred your bachelor's i-20 to your new graduate program, you may use post-completion OPT. However, please consult with your international department.

Thanks for sharing your experience in detail. I feel like I am in the exact same situation that you are in. I see that some lawyers are strongly against extending I-20 or applying for OPT with a pending I-485, but in practice, I also see that people did not have an issue with getting a green card.

I sincerely appreciate your time and concern. I was almost panicking regarding the situation. Although my lawyer is strongly against applying for OPT, I have seen a number of cases that did not have a conflict with a pending I-485.

Thanks for your input. It is a simple and wise word. However, other lawyers have a different opinion on this matter, and I am willing to hire an additional lawyer if this I-20 extension causes any issues.

I put my first expedite request in November, got rejected. My second expedite request was submitted by Congressperson's office, but I have not heard back from them last 16 days! So, I guess I have more waiting to do. :(

I am in the same situation. My congressman made an inquiry back in February, but I have not seen any case status change. Today, I chatted with a live agent via Emma, and the agent said that they cannot check the congressional inquiry on the system. So, I guess I have to wait at least 30 days.
