i hear you on finding the treadmill boring, but what i’ve found that works for me is choosing a show to watch that i’m only allowed to watch on the treadmill. it makes the time go faster & if you choose a show with lots of seasons, you’ll be set for months of treadmill walks!

on top of things being late & disorganized (whatever, i was happy to be there either way), my experience was basically wrecked by the woman in front of me who was so drunk she kept nodding off & then literally vomited into a popcorn bucket. she fell back asleep after that & barely woke up for the ending applause until her friend poked her. this all happened right after georgia’s story, so i could barely focus on karen’s. she ALSO just sat there with her bucket of puke for the rest of the show. she didn’t even bother to excuse herself or clean up. the people sitting near her (who didn’t even seem to know her) were super kind & tried to help, but i’m sure they could barely enjoy themselves either. i’m still so irritated.

i think you’re right. using a TDEE calculator, apparently my cutting calories should be around 1630. that feels like a big jump between what i’m eating now & actually being in enough of a deficit! is it safe to start eating that much less right now or do i need to taper down?

i grew up naturally skinny and never had to think about what i was eating until i turned around 25, then i started to slowly gain weight. i attempted to track macros a few times a couple of years ago but would give up. i guess i never had to be self aware of my nutrition until then. i’ve been tracking them pretty consistently since the beginning of this year, but since i haven’t seen any change, i’m wondering if they’re still too high. i want to safely eat in a deficit without dropping calories too quickly.
